Programs
The Fulton Housing Authority
is a public agency that provides subsidized housing to low and moderate
income individuals and families within the Fulton City limits. The Authority
administers two distinct housing programs.
Public Housing:
The Housing Authority manages public housing within
the city of Fulton. The Authority manages 200 housing units and some other
properties scarttered throughout Fulton. # of the 200 units have been
designated senior/elderly or disabled developments. The FHA currently
houses approximately # people under the public housing program.
Rental Assistance (Section

In addition to public
housing the FHA also disburses # rental assistance vouchers. This allows
individuals and families to rent housing on the private market which is
subsequently subsidised by the FHA. This works out to residents under
section 8 paying approximately 30% of their gross income and the FHA paying
the difference. The FHA helps approximately # of people under this program.
